Oklahoma Panhandle State University Aggies take both games from Bluejays

The Aggies softball took both from Tabor College on Sunday afternoon,6-3 and 6-4.
Game One
Senior Sarah Conley started for the Aggies and would go the distance, and Conley pitched all seven innings allowing three runs off of seven hits and mowing down five batters. 

In the second inning, Sophomore Haley Saur came up with the bases loaded and would get walked to give the Aggies a 1-0 lead. Senior Brielee Daniell would be next up for the Aggies, get hit by a pitch, and score in a run going up 2-0. 

The Bluejays would respond in the 5th inning to take the lead 3-2. 
In the sixth inning, both Haley Saur and Brielle Daniell would reach first base on errors from the Bluejay's defense; they also would both allow a runner to score, going up 4-3.

In the seventh inning, Junior Megan Bellar would hit a lead-off single. Next batter Junior Kaitlyn Fanning would hit a deep triple to center field to score Bellar, going up 5-3.

Game Two
Junior Kenley Yocom started for the Aggies. Yocom pitched three and two-thirds innings, allowing three runs off three hits and striking out two. Sarah Conley came out of the bullpen and Pitched three and one-third inning, allowing one run off of four hits and striking out two. 

In the second game, the Aggies would score four runners in the first inning. Meagan Bellar doubled to center field to score two runs., while Sarah Conley and Nicole Paralta would single to score a run going up 4-0 after the first inning.

The Aggies would add one run in the 2nd and 5th inning, combined for ten hits as a team, and finished with ten runners on base. 

The next stop for the Aggies will head to Oklahoma City for the annual Hosea Bell Red Dirt Classic hosted by Langston University. Aggies will face Oklahoma Wesleyan University on Friday, March 3rd, with the first game starting at 11:30 AM.
