On Tuesday afternoon the Great American Conference released their annual preseason coaches poll rankings. The preseason rankings are chosen from the conference coaches who vote on the results.
Henderson State earned first in the voting with 64 total points from the coaches followed by Southwestern at 50 points, just one point in front of the 49 that Harding earned for third.
Arkansas Tech comes in right behind Harding for fourth with 48 points, one point shy of third and twelve ahead of Oklahoma Baptist for fifth with 36 points.
Arkansas Monticello checks in at ranked sixth with 32 points ahead of Southern Arkansas with 22 points in seventh.
Southern Nazarene finishes with 15 points seven in front of Northwestern as the Rangers enter the season ranked ninth in the poll.
The Women's Golf team will open their season with the Central Region Fall Preview on September 6th-7th in Blue Springs, Missouri. This Preview will be hosted by Southwestern Oklahoma State.
