Blaine County Sheriff's Office Traffic Stop on a Uhaul Box Truck

In the early morning hours of August 22, 2022, one of our deputies conducted a traffic stop on a Uhaul box truck traveling from Los Angeles California to Pennsylvania. During the traffic stop, our deputy believed that criminal activity was occurring due to several indications. Our deputy and K9 Neo conducted a search of the vehicle and located marijuana inside of the cab. A further search of rear of the box truck by several deputies led to locating over 150 pounds of marijuana that was hidden inside of a couch, loveseat and moving boxes. The deputies also located over 12 pounds of psilocybin (mushrooms). Our deputies contine to be proactive in removing illegal narcotics from our streets. Our deputies were also assisted by Watonga Police Department Officers during the traffic stop and locating the illegal narcotics.
