The Panhandle State University Aggie Football team went on the road to play their long-time rival Langston University. Aggies were looking to bounce back from last week against Friends University in a 31-14 loss in their home season opener. The last time these teams met was a very close game, with the Aggies losing 7-10. This time the Lions would dominate the Aggies with a 48-13 win.
Offensively, Brandon Stephens went 13 for 37 with 102 passing yards and ran five times for 48 yards. Jared Perdue would record his 4th career rushing touchdown of the night, with 35 yards.
Defensively the Aggies managed to get three forced fumbles with one fumble recovery. Special teams Jalen Partida returned a kickoff for 85 yards for a touchdown.
The Aggies will be in Fort Worth(TX) to face Texas Wesleyan on September 10th at 6:00 PM.
