The Rangers faced their rivals the Southwestern Oklahoma State University Bulldogs. The Rangers and Bulldogs finished the match with a 0-0 draw. The result of this match moves the Rangers to 6-4-3 (3-2-2) and the Bulldogs to 4-4-5 (4-0-3).
Abby Nunez and Isabella Mcmillan led the Rangers with three shots each while Nunez, McMillan, Callie Haneborg, and Gissell Holguin each had two shots on goal. In the draw Rachel Brown earned her second shutout of the season with the previous one against Harding.
To start the match the Rangers had to go against the wind, giving Southwestern the wind advantage. This did not stop the Rangers after having scoring opportunites as they maintained the majority of the possession with five shots on goal while the Bulldogs were held to three shots on goal by the Ranger defense.
In the second half, the Ranger's back line and goalkeeper Rachel Brown made great plays and saves to keep the Bulldogs scoreless. This included a scoring opportunity from the Bulldog's forward as Brown made a diving save keeping the match scoreless. The Rangers had four shots on goal in the second half while the Bulldogs had three. Altogether, the Rangers had fourteen shots and the Bulldogs with thirteen.
