The Aggies Women's basketball team traveled to Dallas, TX, to take on the University of North Texas at Dallas Saturday afternoon.
In the first period of the contest, Sophomore Chevelle Ralstin pierced a three-pointer, tied the game at 10-10 at the 3:35 mark. Senior Tateum Jones would drill a layup at the 1:18 mark to give the Aggies the lead. The Trailblazers would answer with a 5-0 run to end the period.
The Trailblazers in the second period would maintain the Aggies from making a run, and the Trail Blazers would keep a 10-point lead going into the half.
Coming out of the brake, the Aggies tried to trim into the Trailblazers' lead. The TrailBlazers didn't give a shot into their lead.
Sophomore Mariah Williams would nail a jump shot in the final period at the 8:54 mark, making the score 47-43 Trailblazers. The Trailblazers would go on an 11-0 run to pull away from the Aggies.
Guiding the way for the Aggies was Tateum Jones with 22 points and eight rebounds.
Aggies would finish with 37 rebounds, including nine steals.
