Deputies were called to assist Geary Police Department who were in a pursuit that started south of Geary on Highway 281 | Blaine County Sheriff's Office

Deputies were called to assist Geary Police Department who were in a pursuit that started south of Geary on Highway 281. The vehicle wrecked near the intersection of CR N 2550 and CR E 970 west of Geary. The driver fled on foot into a heavily wooded area. Deputies arrived and began assisting Geary PD in locating the driver. Deputies specializing in tracking and our K9 were able to track the driver over 1 mile before losing the track. The driver is not in custody. He is a black male, early 20s. 5'9 150 pounds. The Blaine County Sheriff's Office is asking residents near Geary to be aware of the situation. Our deputies are continuing to locate and apprehend the driver.
