After the game, coach Mark Laird shared, "we did a much better job defensively today but couldn't get stops at critical moments. We can't expect to win when giving up 15 offensive rebounds. That's the only stat that mattered today. Even with a healthy roster we are still very young and don't know how to consistently execute details needed to win. We will turn the page and get ready for a very tough road trip next week."

Leading the way for the Aggies was Rayquan Elliott with 26 points, including two steals.

The Aggies finished with 32 rebounds, and 11 steals as a team.

The Aggies will hit the road next week as they Travel to Chickasha, OK, as they face University of Science and Arts. Tip-off will be at 7:45 PM.
