Blaine County Sheriff's Office Deputies and Investigators were made aware of possible inappropriate sexual activity to a minor by an adult male in Longdale.
Deputies and investigators conducted an investigation based upon the allegations and statements made by the victim. The Blaine County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant on the suspect's residence and recovered a large amount of surveillance video and other evidence from inside the home. During the search of the home, deputies and investigators found that a security camera had been installed inside of each bedroom, to include the master bedroom and each child's bedroom.
On December 1, after reviewing the surveillance camera videos and processing other evidence and statements, Deputies and Investigators arrested Darrick Klassen on 3 counts of Lewd or Indecent Proposals or Acts to a Child. Klassen is currently being held on a $100,000 bond.
