Oklahoma City Police Department Historic Salary Increase for New Police Hires | Oklahoma City Police Department (ocpd.com)
Chief Wade Gourley and training division Major Beto Balderrama spoke with local news about the historic salary increase for new police hires.
Recruits will now receive $61,700 in salary day one. Officers who join OKCPD from other agencies with at least 2-years of experience will start at $65,270 annually.
On top of the increased salaries new police recruits will also receive a $10,000 signing bonus!
